This is the section of our latest training where you will find the 8 Models you will need as a fundamental requirement from the DNO Engineers you will be working with for any larger projects that can fall in either B-C-D sections of the G99/1-10 engineering recommendations.
In this section, you have some of the most helpful and frankly valuable videos, that show every area of working with Digsilent Powerfactory, and they're very revealing.
Here, what we hope is a helpful narrative that describes the tests you will need. The most exciting part of this training session is that we show you the tests and help you learn how to do them for yourself.
Model Number
(1) Power Quality – Voltage fluctuations and Flicker:
(2) Power Quality – Harmonics:
(3) Reactive Power capability.
Section 13.5 Reactive Capability of G99/1-10.
(4) Voltage Control and Reactive Power Stability.
(5) Limited Frequency Sensitive Mode – Over frequency and Frequency Sensitive Mode.
(6) Limited Frequency Sensitive Mode – Under frequency.
(7) Fault Ride Through.
(8) Model validation.
Demonstration of the frequency control or governor/load controller/plant model, Excitation System , and voltage controller by carrying out simulation studies in accordance with C.7.8.
In this training area, we have also uploaded all the actual testing requirements the DNO Engineering department requested while we were developing a 48.5 Meg Power Station, which came under G99/1-10 Engineering Recommendations, the requests were a little strange as they wanted it developing under both C and D regulations, when the actual ER only wanted the application under C level.
When you have watched these videos you will realise the same thing that we did when we started and that was
" how did I not know this information before."
